Deluxe Ham Omelet
Description
Dice up our Alderfer or Leidy’s Ham Steaks and combine fresh tomatoes, mozzarella and basil to bring instant flavor to any omelet.
Ingredients
- 4 oz. 100 Calorie Alderfer Ham Steak, cubed
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons minced chives
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
- 1sliced onion
- 1 sliced tomato
- 2 fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tablespoons shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh Basil & Parsley
Methods/steps
1. In a small bowl, beat the eggs, cream, chives, garlic salt and pepper.
2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil; pour egg mixture into skillet. As the eggs set, lift edges, letting uncooked portion flow underneath.
3. Sprinkle with ham, onion, tomato and mushrooms.
4. When eggs are completely set, remove from the heat and fold omelette in half.
5. Sprinkle with cheeses; cover for 1-2 minutes or until melted. Top with parsley, fresh basil and serve with toast.
