Serving Suggestions/Cooking Instructions:

Turkey Bacon strips are easily overcooked.

  • Fry: Cook in skillet over low heat. Turn frequently, allowing strips to brown evenly.
  • Bake: Place separated turkey bacon slices on a rack in a shallow pan. Bake about 15 minutes at 400 degrees F.
  • Microwave: Place strips in a shallow glass container or paper plate. Cover with paper towel. Cook on HIGH power. 2 Slices: Approximately 1 ½ minutes.

The Turkey Bacon Club Sandwich
INGREDIENTS:
1 tablespoon fat free mayonnaise or 1 tablespoon of your favorite low fat dressing
2 slices of whole wheat bread or Kaiser roll, toasted
1 sliced tomato
Sliced Avocado (optional)
Lettuce Leaves
Turkey Bacon Strips, cooked

DIRECTIONS:
Spread mayonnaise or dressing on one slice of toast.
Then layer lettuce, tomato, avocado and two strips of turkey bacon onto the toast.
Spread remaining dressing on other half of toast and top sandwich.
Cut into triangles, secure with toothpick and serve with fresh fruit.
